Sugar Swirl is a Mid-Century Modern designed fused glass art piece.  It was displayed in a local Mid-Century Modern store and "something" was dropped on top of the surface, cracking a piece of the raised black curved glass focal point. When I got it home and examined it closely in the sunlight, I noticed several radiating cracks on the surface which can only be seen at an angle when the light hits it just right. In an effort to "save" this piece, I have added many new colorful designs to the surface covering many, if not most, of the cracks. I also created two draped glass designs which fit over the raised black glass piece, one of which covers the missing glass piece. Honestly, I think "Sugar Swirl" looks better than ever. However, you should know that it is not perfect and in the right light, and if closely examined, you can still see some cracks in the white glass background. 
 
As a result of the damage to Sugar Swirl, I am discounting it's price by 50%, originally $450 now $225 and including free shipping.
 
The fused glass artwork is mounted to a deep, 18"x18"x2" whitewashed wood panel and is wired and ready to hang. I also added my signature glass “tattoo” to the side of the panel.  The tattoo design mimics the design on the front of the panel.
