Embracing Imperfection

I love working with glass, however, when an accident happens, and it does, I cannot just paint over it like other artists can. Glass breaks, either by dropping, knocking over, or having something dropped on it. I have been keeping my broken pieces in drawers and boxes in my studio and even hanging some in my house. But I recently decided I would try to repair the ones that I thought could be salvaged and sell them at a dramatic discounts with free shipping. In the spirit of the Japanese phrase "Wabi-Sabi," I am celebrating the beauty of cracks, blemishes and irregularities. Take a look and if you have any questions or want more photos, don't hesitate to reach out.
