We are committed to providing rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs and cats that have been living on the street or abandoned and at risk in high kill shelters, and to educating the public on the importance of fixing their pets to reduce the overwhelming pet overpopulation problem.

Meals on Wheels San Antonio meal-delivery volunteers noticed that their clients were sharing their meals with their pets. AniMeals is a donation-sustained service which provides monthly deliveries of pet food to clients who find it hard to maintain the nutrition of their companion animals. These meals are delivered by animal-loving volunteers every third weekend of the month.

ThriveWell Cancer Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for cancer by funding cancer research, providing patient support and offering programs to improve the quality of life for patients and their families. ThriveWell Cancer Foundation provides eligible adult cancer patients with financial assistance towards their cancer treatment. They also provide transportation assistance for active cancer treatment throughout San Antonio. Their goal is to allow cancer patients to live their lives as normally and worry-free as possible.

Fighting hunger and feeding hope in San Antonio and Southwest Texas. The San Antonio Food Bank takes pride in fighting hunger, feeding hope in our 29 county service area. We believe that no child should go to bed hungry, adults should not have to choose between a hot meal and utilities, nor a senior sacrifice medical care for the sake of a meal. Founded in1980, The San Antonio Food Bank has quickly grown to serve 120,000 individuals a week in one of the largest service areas in Texas.
