Flawed Vision is a fused glass abstract landscape created by painting on glass with special enamels and then fired in my kiln. Additional design is added to the surface to add character and texture to this piece. I have to admit that I can't recall how I broke this one! It has been stashed away in my studio for a couple of years. However, what I can say is that it was broken before I adhered it to a panel. I decided to embrace the breaks and mount the pieces on a panel using gold caulk type adhesive between the cracks. This is a homage to the Japanese art of Kintsugi, which literally means "golden joinery." Instead of trying to hide the breakage, Kintsugi highlights the repair.

As a result of the damage to Flawed Vision, I have discounted it 35% from the original price of $450 to $290 and include free shipping for this art.

The fused glass artwork is mounted to a deep, 18"x18"x2" whitewashed wood panel and is wired and ready to hang. I also added my signature glass “tattoo” to the side of the panel.  The tattoo design mimics the design on the front of the panel.
