Glasscapes Series
24"x6" x 2" | Textured Fused Glass on Whitewashed Wood Panel
 
Where Light Lingers is an original fused glass wall sculpture from my Glasscapes series. Layers of hand-cut glass, metallic accents, and detailed pen work are arranged into a textured composition that seems to emerge from a quiet, light-filled landscape. Soft washes of lavender, cream, gold, and charcoal surround the raised glass elements, creating depth and inviting the eye to wander through the piece.
 
Mounted on a hand-painted wood panel, the glass extends beyond the surface, allowing changing light and shadows to become part of the artwork. Like all pieces in the Glasscapes series, it is an abstract exploration of places that exist somewhere between memory and imagination.
Each piece is individually designed, kiln-fired, and assembled by hand, making it a one-of-a-kind original.
 
The fused glass artwork is mounted to a deep, whitewashed wood panel and is wired and ready to hang. I also added my signature glass “Tattoo” to the side of the panel. The tattoo design mimics the design on the front of the panel.
