What We Leave Behind
Nirvana Series
 
This textured fused glass piece explores the layers, marks, and fragments we collect along the way—and the things we leave behind as we move forward. A warm gold patterned surface creates the foundation for an arrangement of dimensional glass shapes in red, amber, white, black, and soft neutrals. Small areas of handwritten mark-making add another personal layer to the composition.
The glass elements are fused and layered to create depth and texture, with some pieces raised above the surface to catch the light. The artwork is mounted in a deep black shadow-box frame with a warm gold inset, giving the piece a finished, dimensional presentation.
