What Holds Us Together explores the connections, small moments, and unexpected details that give structure to our lives. A soft field of turquoise, blue, yellow, and warm orange creates the backdrop for a collection of layered fused glass elements, each with its own texture, shape, and character.
Raised glass pieces, hand-drawn lines, and subtle dimensional details create a composition that feels both structured and spontaneous. A long, slender element runs through the piece, visually connecting the different sections and giving the work a sense of continuity.
 
I love the idea that the things that hold us together aren't always obvious. Sometimes they're the quiet connections, memories, relationships, and experiences that run underneath everything else.
 
What Holds Us Together is part of my Glasscapes series and is one of those pieces that rewards a closer look—the more you explore the surface, the more details you discover.
 
The fused glass artwork is mounted to a deep, whitewashed wood panel and is wired and ready to hang. I also added my signature glass “Tattoo” to the side of the panel. The tattoo design mimics the design on the front of the panel.
