Turning Toward Light is built around warm earth tones, layered texture, and intersecting linear elements that create movement across the surface. The composition feels architectural but still organic, with small sections of dimensional glass adding depth and contrast. This piece came together slowly and naturally, which feels reflected in the finished work.
 
Mounted on a hand-painted wood panel, this one-of-a-kind piece invites quiet reflection while rewarding a closer look. Every angle reveals new relationships between color, texture, and light, making it a piece that continues to unfold over time.
 
Part of my Glasscapes series, this artwork is inspired by imagined landscapes and cityscapes—places where architecture, atmosphere, and memory blend into something both familiar and abstract.
Mounted on a 2-inch wood panel with softly whitewashed sides, the artwork extends beyond the front surface. A small fused glass "tattoo" on the side offers a glimpse of the composition, becoming a hidden detail that rewards closer inspection.
