The Light We Carry is a quiet reminder that what sustains us often comes from within. Soft layers of ivory, warm apricot, and luminous gold are brought together with intricate hand-drawn patterns and dimensional fused glass elements that create changing reflections as the light moves across the surface. The translucent gold glass shifts throughout the day, appearing opaque from some angles and revealing the detailed pen work beneath from others. Like much in life, there is more than first meets the eye.
 
Mounted on a hand-painted wood panel with a matte black finish and metallic gold inset, this original artwork invites close observation. Its rich textures, layered surfaces, and changing light encourage moments of stillness and discovery, revealing new details each time it is viewed.
