Order and Wonder
Textured Fused Glass Wall Art | Nirvana Series
18" x 6" x 2"

Order and Wonder brings together intricate patterns, bold color, and dimensional glass in a composition full of movement and detail. A vivid turquoise-blue background provides the foundation for layers of black linework, geometric shapes, and contrasting touches of copper, gray, and gold.
Raised glass elements add depth and texture, while the bright yellow glass pieces stand out against the blue background, drawing your eye through the design. The combination of detailed markmaking and sculptural glass forms creates an interesting balance between structure and spontaneity.

The piece is mounted on a white wood panel, and a small fused glass tattoo on the side carries the design around the edge, adding another detail to discover when viewing the artwork from different angles.

Part of my Nirvana series, Order and Wonder explores the relationship between complexity and balance. There's plenty to take in, but the individual elements come together to create a unified piece of art.A distinctive statement piece for a wall that could use a little color, texture, and visual interest.
