Halcyon brings together soft lavender, purple, and pink tones with touches of blue, black, and gold. Raised geometric glass shapes add depth and texture, while the black linear marks create a sense of structure against the softly blended background. Gold glass elements stand on edge, forming vertical and horizontal lines that intersect with the raised glass pieces. Their reflective surfaces catch the light and draw attention to the layered arrangement. Each small glass element has its own color and texture, adding contrast and detail to the overall composition.
 
Mounted on a white wood panel, Halcyon includes a small glass tattoo on the side that echoes the geometric design on the front. This detail extends the artwork around the panel, making the piece interesting from more than one angle.
 
Part of the Glasscapes series, Halcyon combines color, line, and dimensional glass in a compact contemporary work that can be displayed on its own or alongside other pieces in the series.
