Original fused glass art block | Glasscapes Series | 4" x 4" x 2"

Blueprint combines layered shades of cobalt, slate, and sky blue with touches of cream, gold, and black. Raised geometric glass shapes create depth and contrast, while the black linear marks give the composition an architectural quality, suggesting a framework of lines and intersecting forms. Two dimensional glass elements add another layer to the design. Sky blue transparent glass stands on edge, with its top finished in gold, catching the light and emphasizing the clean lines of the composition. Smaller pieces of patterned and textured glass are arranged among the bars, creating contrast in both color and surface.

Mounted on a white wood panel, Blueprint includes a small glass tattoo on the side that echoes the geometric design on the front. This detail carries the composition around the panel and rewards a closer look from different angles. Part of the Glasscapes series, Blueprint is a compact contemporary work that brings together strong geometry, layered glass, and cool, luminous color.
