A Quiet Awakening - Nirvana Series
 
Sometimes change doesn't arrive all at once. It begins with a quiet moment, a shift in perspective, or the gentle realization that something has been there all along. A Quiet Awakening is an original textured fused glass artwork built from multiple layers of hand-cut glass suspended above a hand-painted and pen-worked surface. As the light changes throughout the day, the translucent gold glass shifts from softly opaque to transparent, gradually revealing the intricate patterns hidden beneath. Each change in light offers another small discovery.
 
Mounted on a hand-painted black wood panel and presented in a deep matte black shadow box with a warm gold inset, the artwork creates depth, movement, and an ever-changing interaction with light. Soft ivory, warm gold, gentle peach, and touches of orange create a luminous composition that feels peaceful, balanced, and full of quiet optimism.
 
Part of my Nirvana Series, this piece is a reminder that growth often begins in stillness and that the most meaningful transformations happen one quiet moment at a time.
