Where Streets Meet Light
Glasscapes Series
 
Inspired by the rhythm of an imagined city, Where Streets Meet Light explores the places where movement, architecture, and light intersect. Layers of hand-cut fused glass rise from the surface, creating depth, shifting reflections, and changing shadows as the light moves throughout the day.
Soft blues, lavender, blush, turquoise, and touches of gold are balanced with expressive black line work, giving the piece both structure and spontaneity.
 
Mounted within an 8" x 8" satin black shadow box featuring a hand-painted gold inset, the composition extends beyond the glass itself. A miniature fused glass "tattoo" on the side of the frame echoes the artwork's colors and geometric design, creating a thoughtful finishing detail from every angle.
 
Like all pieces in my Glasscapes series, this work invites viewers to slow down and discover something new each time they return to it.
