They reveal themselves slowly, inviting you to pause and look a little longer. Quiet Discovery is an original textured fused glass artwork featuring multiple layers of hand-cut glass suspended above a detailed, hand-painted and pen-worked surface. As the light changes, the translucent gold glass shifts from softly opaque to transparent, revealing intricate patterns hidden beneath. Every viewing offers something new to notice.
 
Mounted on a hand-painted black wood panel and presented in a deep matte black shadow box with a warm gold inset, the artwork creates depth, contrast, and an ever-changing play of light. Soft pinks, warm ivory, gentle lavender, and shimmering gold combine to create a peaceful composition that encourages stillness and reflection.
 
Part of my Nirvana Series, this piece celebrates the beauty found in slowing down and allowing quiet moments to reveal unexpected details.
