This block is part of my new Nirvana collection. "Perfect" was created by painting with enamels on glass then fired in my kiln. A colorful gold, brown and beige background creates interest, but the star of the show is the intricate surface design in black. On top of this design I layered gold, brown, beige and clear glass pieces for texture. I really love the way this one came out. Although the surface designs are time consuming, there is a zen quality to them. It is very relaxing creating the designs. I added a painted glass design (tattoo) on the gold side of the block which mimics the front and adds interest.
 
The block is 4"x4"x2" with whitewashed sides. An added small side "tattoo" mimics the design on the front of the block. Sit this piece on a desk, shelf or mantle, or hang it on the wall for a unique display.
