"Matrix" is a small fused glass piece, featuring a geometric abstract design with rectangles and squares in shades of blue, vibrant gold, and muted grays. White rectangles with blue linear patterns intersect to form striking shapes, all outlined by thin black lines for a structured feel. Inspired by mid-century modern design, "Matrix" offers a balanced harmony of colors and forms. Created by painting on glass and adding blue glass stringers before kiln-firing, this method adds depth and texture, making the piece both sophisticated and lively.
 
The block is 4"x4"x2" with whitewashed sides. An added small side "tattoo" mimics the design on the front of the block.
