The artwork, titled "Creole Music," is crafted with kiln-formed glass nd showcases a vibrant interplay of colors and dynamic forms. The background is a captivating blend of cool and warm hues, featuring shades of blue, yellow, and soft orange. Fluid and linear black lines crisscross the piece, creating a sense of dynamic movement and contrast against the colorful backdrop. The artwork is enriched with additional colorful glass elements fused directly onto the surface, while violet transparent glass pieces standing on end contribute to a sense of movement and intrigue. The glass is adhered to a 24"x6"x2" wood panel and is ready to hang. I added a glass "tattoo" design on the whitewashed side of the panel which mimics the front and adds interest.
