Balanced  is part of my Glasscapes collection. It presents an arrangement of intersecting lines and shapes that defines its calm structure. The fused glass composition unfolds with soft, muted grays and blues forming a quiet backdrop. Horizontal and vertical gold lines composed of beautiful transparent blue glass on edge, cross to organize the space into four sections, each filled with carefully placed rectangles and squares in tones of blue, orange, gray, and off-white. These colored glass shapes vary in texture and pattern, lending subtle depth and interest without overwhelming the piece. Thin black lines and small cross marks trace the edges and intersections, adding a measured precision that contrasts gently with the softer hues. The result is a refined interplay of form and color that invites quiet attention, creating a sense of poise and harmony that feels both modern and thoughtfully composed.
 
The block is 4"x4"x2" with whitewashed sides. An added small side "tattoo" mimics the design on the front of the block. Sit this piece on a desk, shelf or mantle, or hang it on the wall for a unique display.
